| 12-day Culture and Landscape Enjoyment of Southwest
Day 1: Arrive in Chengdu.|
Arrival at Chengdu Airport on your own.Pickup and ride to the hotel according to reservation.Visit Jinsha Archaeology Site, take a walk in Chunxi Pedestrian Street and have local special for dinner.
Day 2:Chengdu Sightseeing
Morning visit to the Panda Center and afternoon sightseeing of the hot attractions downtown.Watch Sichuan Opera show over tea in the evening.
Day 3: Chengdu-Dujiangyan-Mt.Qingcheng-Chengdu.
Drive to visit Dujiangyan Irrigation System, which has been playing its function since 2 century BC. And visit Mt.Qingcheng, the Daoist Site.
Day 4: Flight Chegndu to Guilin.
Some one-hour's flight to Guilin to visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill, Reed Flute Cave and Seven Star Park. Overnight at the hotel accordin gto reservation.
Day 5: Guilin-Li River Cruise
Depart from your hotel in the morning. Be transferred to the Zhujiang Pier(about 1 hour drive)for a 4.5 hours wonderful cruise. You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wandering around on both sides of the river bank. Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo in the afternoon. Have a short exploration to the old town and watch a show in the evening. Overnight at the hotel according to reservation
Day 6: Guilin-Longsheng-Guilin
One-dat trip to Longsheng Dragon Back-bone Terraced Fields. Overnight at Guilin
Day 7: Guilin-Kunming
Arrive in Kunming, which is known as the Spring City, meet at airport, and transfer to your hotel. Then visit the Western Hill reserve (the Dragon Gate Grotto), and the Grand View Pavilion, which is famous for the longest couplet in China. Overnight at the hotel accordin gto reservation
Day 8: Stone Forest sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to the Stone Forest, the geological Karst wonder with the colorful local Sani People living around, then drive back to Kunming.
Day 9: Kunming-Dali
Take the morning flight to Dali. Cruising in Lake Erhai (or sightseeing the Cangshan Mt. by cable-car), then visit the Butterfly Spring, and the Temple of Three Pagodas, The Bai ethnic family at Xizhou Township and The Old Town of Dali. overnight at Dali.
Day 10: Dali-Lijiang
A bus journey to Lijiang city in the morning. Visit the Black Dragon Pond Park, Shuhe Ancient Town, visit the Baisha Naxi Village where you will see the 500-year-old Baisha Fresco. Then back to Lijiang, visit the Ancient Town and enjoy the ancient Naxi Classical Music . Overnight at Lijiang.
Day 11: Lijiang-Kunming.
After breakfast, drive to the Jade Dragon Snow Mt., take cable-car up to the glacier (4506 m high), hike in the mountain for about 1 hour to enjoy the breathtaking view of the main peak (5596 m high), then take cable-car down, drive back to Lijiang. On the way, visit the Ganhaizi Meadow and Baishui River. and in the Evening , Take the flight back to Kunming. Overnight at Kunming.
Day 12: Departure from Kunming
Visit the Golden Temple, which is the largest bronze-made temple in China, continue visiting the Jingxing Flowers and Birds Market. Then transfer to airport for your departure flight.
End the tour.
